Käseplattenkorb

The black sausage was the first thing we tried and it had a lovely smoky snap. The whole basket made a perfect centerpiece for a casual Saturday afternoon with friends. I’ve already ordered another one for next week’s get-together.

The wicker basket itself is sturdier than I expected, and the mix of meats inside was a feast for two nights. That Spanish chorizo style sausage had a nice smoky kick that paired perfectly with the egg pie.

The ham hock was the star of the basket — meaty and perfectly smoked, with just the right amount of fat. I was impressed by the variety of sausages, especially the Spanish chorizo style, which added a nice spicy kick. Everything felt generously portioned and made for a fantastic picnic spread.
