Mulberry Mansion gives you a wide open front and included furniture, while Fantail Hall adds a fourth attic level. Here is how to choose between these two wooden dollhouses.

Quick answer

Choose Mulberry Mansion if you want a wide, open-fronted house with furniture already included and a balcony for display-style play. Choose Fantail Hall if a fourth attic level and room to grow with your child's storytelling matter more than included furniture.

Space and scale: how each house fits a room

Mulberry Mansion is scaled for 9.84-inch (25 cm) dolls, so it suits standard dollhouse figures and gives you a clear size reference before you commit. Its open front and windows at the back panel let light through, which keeps a large house from feeling closed in.

Fantail Hall is described as a grand house with four levels of play area, including an attic revealed by removing the roof. That extra height changes where it can live in your home: plan for vertical clearance as well as floor space.

Furniture and the cost of finishing a house

Mulberry Mansion includes furniture, so the play value is ready on day one. That matters if you want a dollhouse with rooms and furniture without a second shopping trip.

Fantail Hall's listing does not state that furniture is included. Treat that as a planning gap rather than a flaw: budget for separate furniture if you want furnished rooms, and check the scale of any pieces you add.

Play style: open display versus layered storytelling

Mulberry Mansion's open front, balcony and illustrated interior suit children who like to arrange scenes and show them off. The soft contemporary colors make it a piece that can stay on display.

Fantail Hall's traditional British-style architecture and removable roof reward children who build stories floor by floor. Its four levels give more separate zones, which can help siblings or friends play at the same time.

Trade-offs to weigh before you buy

Furniture included vs. furnishing later: Mulberry Mansion arrives with furniture, so the total cost is more predictable. Fantail Hall does not list furniture, so add the cost of separate pieces if furnished rooms are part of your plan. Add up the house plus any furniture you will need before comparing prices.
Footprint vs. height: Mulberry Mansion is a wide, open-fronted house, while Fantail Hall stacks four levels. Measure both the floor area and the height under shelves or ceilings where the house will stand. A tall house needs clearance above it, not just floor space.
Display piece vs. growing playhouse: Mulberry Mansion's balcony, shutters and soft colors make it easy to leave out as a display. Fantail Hall's removable roof and attic reward children who keep adding to their stories over years. Match the house to whether you want a settled scene or a play space that changes.
